WP.20122 Black Touch™ is the completely water-based matte black finish developed by Molteni Vernici to create surfaces with a strong material presence, where pure black meets extraordinary tactile softness. This technology is designed to interpret contemporary black through an elegant, velvety, and sustainable surface, perfect for high-end furniture and architecture.

Developed by the Molteni Vernici Research and Development Center, WP.20122 Black Touch™ is a 100% water-based 2K two-component finish, featuring an intense, pure black and an exclusive Anti-Touch effect. Its unique formulation creates a completely matte, silky-smooth, and perfectly uniform surface, eliminating the need for clear topcoats and streamlining the production process.

Designed for the world of interior design, high-end furniture, luxury retail, hospitality, contract, and contemporary architecture, WP.20122 Black Touch™ is applied in boutiques, flagship stores, hotels, showrooms, contemporary villas, and exclusive residences. It's ideal for furniture, decorative panels, boiserie, tables, kitchens, living spaces, reception desks, counters, doors, wall coverings, walk-in closets, and furnishing accessories where black becomes the focal point of the space.

The unique Anti-Touch technology helps maintain a pleasant feel and reduces fingerprint visibility, preserving the elegance of the matte black over time. Applicable, with specific Molteni Vernici primers, on metals, electroplated surfaces, plastics, composite materials, carbon fiber, MDF, and wood, WP.20122 Black Touch™ offers maximum design freedom while maintaining the same aesthetic identity across different materials.

The system can be dried at room temperature or in an oven up to 140°C, easily adapting to both industrial production and custom projects. Application can be performed using pneumatic or electrostatic spray, ensuring high surface uniformity and perfect production repeatability.

The 100% water-based formulation, formaldehyde-free and low in VOCs, helps reduce environmental impact and emissions during the production process, offering a sustainable solution without compromising the high performance required by the furniture and design industry.
