Cold Bronzer for Brass Copper Iron

Bronzox™ is the reagent developed by Molteni Vernici to create authentic natural oxidations on metals and liquid metals, transforming the surface through a real chemical process rather than a simple aesthetic imitation. Each application gives rise to unique shades, bronzing, and browning effects, making every project unrepeatable and deeply textural.

Developed by the Molteni Vernici Research and Development Center, Bronzox™ reacts directly with brass, bronze, copper, and iron, as well as with the liquid metals from the PowerMetal™ series, giving rise to true natural oxidations capable of evolving the surface with warm, deep, and character-rich tones. The result is a living material, where every color variation arises from the natural reaction of the metal and makes every creation unique.

Designed for the world of interior and outdoor design, high-end furniture, luxury retail, hospitality, contract, yachting, and architecture, Bronzox™ allows for the creation of surfaces with a strong material impact for boutiques, flagship stores, hotels, resorts, yachts, showrooms, contemporary villas, museums, art installations, and prestigious residences. Unlike traditional thermal or electrolytic treatments, Bronzox™ allows for completely cold bronzing and browning effects even on large elements, complex surfaces, and intricate geometries, offering architects, designers, and applicators maximum creative freedom without sacrificing the authenticity of the result.

The ready-to-use single-component formulation can be applied by spray, brush, or immersion, easily adapting to both artisanal craftsmanship and industrial production processes. It is particularly suitable for the oxidation of PowerMetal™ liquid metals Brass PM-2420, Bronze PM-2400, Copper PM-2410, and Iron PM-2480, developed by Molteni Vernici.

Bronzox™ can be used both indoors and outdoors through specific application cycles. Treated surfaces can then be protected with Molteni Vernici's specific systems to preserve the achieved aesthetic over time and ensure high performance resistance to weathering, UV rays, wear, and detergents.
