2KM™ is the glossy metallic finish developed by Molteni Vernici to achieve surfaces with a very high aesthetic impact, characterized by a full, deep, and uniform brilliance. Designed to enhance metal through a 100 gloss finish, it represents an ideal solution for architecture, interior design, and industrial production where elegance and performance must coexist without compromise.

Developed by Molteni Vernici's Research and Development Center, 2KM™ is a 2K two-component finish that creates an exclusive glossy metallic effect with high optical depth. Its unique formulation creates a full, uniform, and highly opaque surface, capable of enhancing any geometry with an intense brilliance reminiscent of the finest contemporary galvanic finishes.

Designed for the world of interior and outdoor design, high-end furniture, luxury retail, hospitality, contract, marine, and architecture, 2KM™ finds application in boutiques, flagship stores, hotels, resorts, showrooms, contemporary villas, executive offices, and exclusive residences. It is ideal for doors, decorative panels, boiserie, reception desks, counters, custom furniture, tables, lighting, profiles, handles, cladding, window frames, and furnishing accessories intended for the most prestigious projects.

The unique technology developed by Molteni Vernici offers high filling power, which helps to even out the surface, masking minor substrate imperfections and improving the aesthetic quality of the final result. The finish is available in a wide range of metallic colors, different grain sizes, and interpretations of the main galvanic finishes, offering maximum design freedom.

Applicable with direct adhesion on metals and, through specific Molteni Vernici cycles, also on plastics, MDF, wood, and composite materials, 2KM™ ensures high aesthetic uniformity and perfect repeatability in industrial production.

The system can be dried at room temperature or in an oven up to 140°C, easily adapting to different production processes and ensuring high film elasticity even in the most complex applications.

2KM™ can be used both indoors and outdoors with specific application cycles. Through Molteni Vernici's specialized protective systems, it offers high performance in terms of resistance to wear, abrasion, salt spray, UV rays, aging, sweat, chemical agents, detergents, and food, preserving the brilliance and quality of the surface over time.
