HighTemp™ is the high-temperature finish developed by Molteni Vernici to protect and enhance metal surfaces subjected to extreme thermal stress. Designed to maintain color stability, aesthetic integrity, and mechanical performance up to 400°C, it represents a professional solution for all projects where heat is a permanent operating condition.
Developed by Molteni Vernici's Research and Development Center, HighTemp™ is a 2K two-component matte finish that adheres directly to metal substrates, offering highly resistant protection against high temperatures and yellowing. Its unique formulation maintains color uniformity, surface stability, and aesthetic quality over time, even with significant temperature fluctuations.
Designed for interior design, outdoor design, industry, marine, automotive, and architecture, HighTemp™ finds application in fireplaces, stoves, ovens, barbecues, exhaust systems, engine components, technical lighting, handles, metal profiles, architectural structures, industrial plants, and all manufactured goods subjected to high operating temperatures.
The unique technology developed by Molteni Vernici allows for maintaining an elegant matte finish even after prolonged heat exposure, preventing color alterations and preserving the surface's appearance. APPLICATION CYCLES
To achieve the best performance from HIGHTEMP™, follow an appropriate application cycle:
1. Surface Preparation:
- Clean the substrate to remove dust, grease, and other contaminants.
- For metal surfaces, sandblasting may be necessary to improve adhesion.
2. Component Mixing:
- Mix the two components (base and hardener) in the ratio specified by the manufacturer.
- Allow the mixture to rest for the indicated time to ensure proper chemical reaction.
3. Enamel Application:
- Apply a uniform layer of HIGHTEMP™ using a spray, brush, or roller.
- Allow to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions, and if necessary, apply additional layers to achieve the desired thickness.
4. Curing:
- Follow the product's curing instructions, if applicable, to ensure maximum thermal and mechanical resistance.
