WP.2K/BT™ is the water-based metallic finish developed by Molteni Vernici to create elegant, luminous, and contemporary surfaces, inspired by the most refined matte galvanic finishes. Developed by the Molteni Vernici Research and Development Center, WP.2K/BT™is a 100% water-based 2K two-component finish that creates a refined satin metallic effect, characterized by natural luminosity, a uniform surface, and a soft light reflection. The result is a completely opaque, non-yellowing, and perfectly repeatable finish, designed to enhance every project with elegance and chromatic continuity.

Applicable with direct adhesion on metals and, through specific Molteni Vernici cycles, also on plastics, MDF, wood, and composite materials, WP.2K/BT™ ensures aesthetic continuity between different materials, offering maximum design freedom in both industrial production and custom work.

The system can be dried at low or high temperatures, easily adapting to different production processes and allowing for perfect integration into both automated industrial lines and high-quality artisanal productions.

WP.2K/BT™ can be used both indoors and outdoors through specific application cycles. The 100% water-based formulation, free of formaldehyde and with low VOC content, helps reduce environmental impact and emissions during the production process, offering a sustainable solution without compromising on high performance.

Through specific protective cycles, WP.2K/BT™ offers high performance in terms of resistance to scratches, wear, atmospheric agents, UV rays, detergents, chemical agents, and aging, preserving the luminosity and aesthetic quality of the surface over time.
