MV Protect Metal™ is the professional transparent system developed by Molteni Vernici to protect and enhance metallic and galvanic surfaces, preserving their brilliance, aesthetics, and performance over time. Designed for direct adhesion to major metals, it represents a technologically advanced solution that simplifies production cycles without compromising the highest quality standards.

Developed by the Molteni Vernici Research and Development Center, MV Protect Metal™ is a high-performance two-component system designed for direct adhesion to steel, aluminum, brass, zamak, and major galvanic surfaces, including chrome plating, nickel plating, and brass plating, eliminating the need for dedicated primers in most applications. For stainless steel surfaces, the use of Molteni Vernici Primer 2600 is recommended to ensure maximum adhesion.

Designed for the interior design and outdoor design, luxury retail, hospitality, contract, marine, automotive, and architecture sectors, MV Protect Metal™ protects handles, accessories, lighting, metal profiles, furniture components, coatings, facades, window and door frames, architectural elements, and galvanic surfaces intended for the most prestigious projects.

The range includes four different finish levels, designed to meet every aesthetic need:

• 14000 – High Gloss Shield™: maximum brilliance and depth.

• 16500 – Metal Touch Satin™: elegant satin effect.

• 17000 – Matt Control 20™: 20 gloss matte finish.

• 18000 – Deep Matt Barrier 10™: extreme 10 gloss opacity for maximum reflection control.

Each version preserves the metal's visual quality, enhancing its characteristics without altering its material perception.

MV Protect Metal™ can be used both indoors and outdoors, ensuring high durability even in particularly aggressive environments. The system offers excellent performance in terms of resistance to corrosion, salt spray, atmospheric agents, UV rays, detergents, chemical agents, food, wear, scratches, and frequent contact. Its Anti-Touch and Anti-Fingerprint properties also help keep surfaces clean and aesthetically perfect over time.

Designed to integrate seamlessly into modern production processes, MV Protect Metal™ can be dried at both low and high temperatures, adapting to the needs of industrial and artisanal production. It is applicable via pneumatic and electrostatic spray and is compatible with major industrial coating technologies, ensuring high film uniformity, maximum repeatability, and significant reduction in production waste.
