Never Effect® Luxion
Anodized Metal Effect Paint
NEVER EFFECT® LUXION represents the ultimate expression of brilliance in NEVER EFFECT® technology. A 1K single-component metallic finish designed to create intensely luminous surfaces, where the depth of the metal meets an extraordinarily rich, uniform, and refined light reflection, resulting in an aesthetic effect reminiscent of the elegance of polished galvanic surfaces.
Developed by the Molteni Vernici Research and Development Center, NEVER EFFECT® LUXION introduces a new concept of high-brilliance metallic finish, combining the visual richness of NEVER EFFECT® metallic pigments with the easy application of a 1K single-component system. The result is an intense, luminous, and deep surface, capable of amplifying natural and artificial light, enhancing every architectural detail, and offering an aesthetic effect extremely close to polished and mirrored galvanic finishes.
Designed for the world of interior and outdoor design, high-end furniture, luxury retail, hospitality, contract furnishing, marine, and architecture, NEVER EFFECT® LUXION is ideal for boutiques, flagship stores, hotels, resorts, yachts, showrooms, contemporary villas, corporate spaces, and prestigious residences. Its brilliance makes it particularly suitable for doors, decorative panels, elevators, reception desks, counters, custom furniture, display elements, cladding, design accessories, and surfaces intended to become the focal point of a project.
NEVER EFFECT® technology allows for a refined, extra-brilliant metallic effect on metal, aluminum, steel, brass, wood, MDF, plastics, composite materials, and numerous other substrates, offering designers the freedom to extend the aesthetic language of galvanic surfaces even where traditional industrial processes are not applicable.
NEVER EFFECT® LUXION can be used both indoors and outdoors through specific application cycles. It is also suitable for architectural facades, window frames, metal cladding, prestigious signage, pergolas, ventilated facades, high-end outdoor furniture, hotels, resorts, yacht clubs, and projects intended for environments exposed to atmospheric agents.
Through specific protective cycles, NEVER EFFECT® LUXION offers high performance in terms of resistance to wear, scratches, thermal shock, salt spray, atmospheric agents, UV rays, chemical agents, and detergents, preserving the brilliance, color depth, and high aesthetic value of the surface over time.
With NEVER EFFECT® LUXION, light becomes the protagonist of the project. An exclusive finish that combines the practicality of a 1K system with the sophistication of the most prestigious metallic surfaces, offering architects and designers a creative tool capable of transforming every surface into an authentic element of luxury.
What is Never Effect® Luxion
Never Effect® Luxion — Couture Metals is a new collection of metal surfaces developed by Molteni Vernici to offer a visual perception inspired by galvanically anodized metals.
The technology used makes it possible to obtain a continuous and refined metal surface, free of the typical speckling of traditional metal paints.
What is the difference from traditional metal paints
Traditional metallic paints generate the metallic effect through visible metal pigments or flakes. This often creates surfaces characterized by graininess or irregular reflections.
Never Effect® Luxion, on the other hand, generates a uniform metallic perception, eliminating speckling and producing a velvety and homogeneous surface that recalls the aesthetics of architectural anodizing.
On which materials it can be applied
Never Effect® Luxion surfaces can be applied to various supports used in the furniture and architecture industry, including:
— metal
— aluminum
— steel
— plastic
— MDF
— wood
What is the aesthetic effect of the surface
The Never Effect® Luxion surface has a metallic effect characterized by a uniform luminous sheen.
The visual perception recalls the elegance of anodized metals while maintaining a sophisticated chromatic depth and an extremely refined texture.
